Stileex Pictures runs one line, and runs everything on it: its own universes and the projects it takes on. Six steps, all in house.
The six steps
- Writing. The script, and the one sentence the film has to leave behind.
- Storyboard. Framing and timing settled on paper, where a change costs an eraser.
- Animation. Drawn by hand, frame by frame, and checked at full speed rather than still.
- Editing. The rhythm, the cuts and the length the platform allows.
- Sound. Voice, effects and music mixed for the device it will be heard on.
- Publishing. Masters cut per platform, packaged and shipped.
Why it is kept in one place
A universe published week after week has to stay itself: the same faces, the same line, the same pacing. Handing a step to a different house is where a series starts to drift. Keeping writing through publishing under one roof is what holds hundreds of episodes to one voice, and it is the same reason a client film keeps the look agreed in the first test.
It also shortens the loop. The person who boarded the shot is down the hall from the person animating it and the person cutting it.
