What is AI Authority?

AI Authority (AA) is a metric from 0 to 100 that says how much a given AI engine leans on a given source. 100 is the source that engine cites most.

It is a count put on a scale, and nothing else: the detections of a source over a rolling 30-day window, measured against the detections of the source that leads its engine. There is no constant to calibrate and no weighting to arbitrate, which is what makes a movement attributable.

Three properties are worth knowing.

AA ranks, which is what turns a list of sources into an order of work. Full definition on the AI Authority page.
